this small black and white zine is like a small condensed journal. erin shares photocopies of appointment cards, medicine labels and photos of herself inside "anon 3". there are various pieces of writing about her day-to-day life and her struggle with anorexia and depression.
as ever, it is fascinating to look at and there is always a small quote or something wonderful printed in the corner of a page, hiding. she uses a variety of typefaces and her own handwriting, which gives her zines a very personal feel- this one is no different. impressive, as ever!
i thought this was a intimate zine, one where you feel as if you are really getting to know the author. i hope to see many more like it.
how to order:
erin's eBay store carries some of her zines, but the easiest way to enquire about ordering one would be to email her at erinpartridge@hotmail.com. her art livejournal,
arteyes, is also updated when she is selling a new zine.
