this zine is jam-packed with collages, pictures, magazine cut-outs and is full of information about eating disorders. erin has collected personal stories by sufferers and pasted them into this zine and surrounded it with quotes and portraits. she uses a wide variety of fonts and handwriting to make this a dense and absorbing zine about what it is like to have an eating disorder and how sufferers can reach out for support- and help themselves.
"EDictions" is literally a small magazine. erin's eye for collage and shape is remarkable and makes for a very absorbing reading experience. there is always something to look at or consider. for me, this was a particularly interesting zine. as a sufferer of anorexia i feel reassured to know that i was not alone, and the advice included was inspiring.
i adore this zine, and i strongly recommend it to anybody who has experience of an eating disorder. reading it made me feel supported, and it is visually exciting to boot.
