#2 was a CD + booklet combo. the cd is burned by erin and contains 19 songs which refer to eating disorders. the track-listing is on the back page of the booklet. the rest of it is colour printed, and neatly bound. the booklet is small and made of card with lots of different pictures which have snippets of lyrics from the songs on them.
the lyrics will ring true with anybody who suffers from an eating disorder. erin has picked appropriate but potentially triggering photos in the booklet. it is worth bearing in mind that she has picked pictures which accurately portray a variety of eating disorders; they are realistic and not intended to trigger.
i really enjoyed this 2nd issue. adding music to zines was a unique idea, one which i think worked really well.
