#3 of this zine is a 1/4 sized zine with a green cover and is text heavy inside, black and white, with a few pictures. i love love love jess' zines. they are so personal and just....interesting. it starts with an update on jess' life and throughout the zine there are journal entries, song lyrics (including rilo kiley, who i LOVE) and a piece on 'wintertime blues'. she also writes about places she loves, things she loves (yoga, sylvia plath) and generally crams the zine full of passion.
her writing is engaging and never fails to inspire me. my favourite thing about #4 of lila is probably the piece jess writes about her other zine m is for monster. she explains how the responses to it affect her and how she feels about her experience now.
overall, a stunning zine.
